Benefits Of Post-Matric Scholarship For SC Students

This scholarship will provide the following benefits:-

(1) Maintenance Allowance is provided according to Groups I, II, III, and IV per month from the date of admission until the date of examination (maximum ten months).

2) The additional allowances for SC students with disabilities (type-wise disabilities) as specified in GR are as follows:

Leprosy cured All Groups:

3) In addition to the maintenance allowance all mandatory fees/ compulsory payable fees i.e. (Tuition Fees, Exam Fees & other Fees) by the student to the institutes are covered under this scheme.

Maharashtra Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria

If you wish to apply for this prestigious scheme, you must meet the following criteria:-

A parent’s or guardian’s annual income must be less than or equal to Rs. 2,50,000.
The student category shall be for members of Scheduled Castes or Navbouddhas
Students must be Maharashtra residents
The student must have passed the SSC or equivalent matriculation exam.
If a student fails the first time, he or she should apply for examination fees and maintenance allowance. When a student fails the same class twice, he/she will not be eligible for any allowance, but if he/she passes and goes to the next class, then they will be eligible.
As per the GOI, the same rules apply to students studying outside Maharashtra.
It is allowed to take only two professional courses.
